Staff of the Benue State Internal Revenue Service, last Friday, February 14, 2025, were hosted by the Acting Executive Chairman of the service, Sunday Odagba, FCTI, FCNA, to an end of year party to celebrate them for their outstanding performances in the outgone year, 2024.
The party which is the first to be independently organized for staff of the service, was graced by invited dignitaries from across government agencies in the state, including, the Head of Service, the Accountant General, the MD/CEO Novus Microfinance Bank, among others.
In his opening remark, the Acting Executive Chairman of the service appreciated all staff for their commitment to duty which he noted was responsible for the steady progress been recorded in revenue growth.
He further solicited for more commitment from the members of staff so as to improve and achieve the revenue target of the state for the year 2025, which he added is most critical to the outstanding administration of Governor Hyacinth Alia.
Awards were later presented to some staff for best performances in their various departments.
