In his unwavering commitment to unlock and optimally harness the revenue potentials of Benue State, the Acting Executive Chairman of the state Internal Revenue Service, (BIRS), Sunday Odagba, FCTI, FCNA, earlier today hosted the General Manager of the Benue State Environmental Sanitation Authority (BENSESA), Jennifer Nashima, and her Management team at the headquarters of the service where discussions centered on the optimization of collections under the agency.
The Chairman while commending the General Manager for her modest efforts at improving the sanitation of the state, said the revenue agency was ready to commence full collections of all the revenue items domiciled in the sanitation agency which he added will help the agency in carrying out its functions optimally.
In her response, the General Manager appreciated the Chairman for putting up the meeting which she noted was necessary in building synergy between the two agencies in supporting the administration of Governor Hyacinth Alia.
While highlighting some of challenges facing her agency which she met upon assumption of duty, the General Manager promised the cooperation of her agency with the service for effective revenue collection.
The meeting also had attendance the management of BIRS technical partners, Softnet.
